To illustrate...

Just wanted to share a small story as to why I call Mr. Perfect...Mr. Perfect.
The other day we had pizza. (Okay not so extraordinary.) But the next day there were only two pieces left. One of the older boys came and got a piece and that left one. Mr. Perfect got it out and was just about to take a bite when a little brother came and asked for some, and seconds after him another little brother. So even after being prompted to "Just go eat the piece." he got out a knife and cut it into three parts to share with his little brothers. Once they all had their share he was once again just about to bite into the pizza when... another little brother came in asking for some pizza. YES, once again he took the knife and the tiny little piece in his hand was split in half so he could share with his little brother.
Oh Perfect! If only more people in the world were like you.

Mr. Music is 12

When I asked Mr. Music what it means to turn 12 he said, "It means I get to pass the sacrament." He is nervous and excited, but big brother Mr Right is going to be there to help him and so tomorrow he will get to do what he has waited for so long to do. (I'm pretty sure I'm more nervous than he is.) His actual birth Day came on Labor Day. We thought it appropriate for me to be in labor on Labor Day. So, with everyone home from school for the day we went out to lunch. Always an adventure! But they did pretty well. It is getting easier as they grow. I can tell you I am happy about that!

I'm so bummed because I didn't get a pic of Music with my Dad who came out to give him the priesthood. I always had the intention, but it just never happened. Darn. But the day he was ordained we had dinner with the Crimsons (of course) and Grandma Crimson made this AWESOME CAKE!! Look at that face, you can see how much he loves it.

She tried to make it look just like his electric guitar. She did a pretty dang good job too. She even got the size right. WOW!

On his birthday while he was at school I was busy at work on his room. For months he has been eyeing the Mario bedroom stuff. These wall stickers are so easy and really make his room fun!

I replaced his cork board with a poster. He hasn't even mentioned the cork board or anything which was on it. He loves the poster though.

And of course Mario sheets and bedspread. I got him curtains too but they didn't arrive until a few days later so I don't have a pic. But they are awesome and he LOVES his new room. It's nice to know exactly what one of the boys wants. Sometimes it's a big guessing game. I loved that he made it so easy on me. I just had to look at his wish list on Amazon. Maybe I should introduce that to Mr. Prince....hmmmmm.....

BOOKSHELVES!!!!

As sad as it is to have Borders going out of business, I have to admit I am pretty happy with the bookshelves I bought from their store. Grandpa Crimson picked them up for me. He had to take them apart. I didn't realize I was sending him on such a huge task. But he did it willingly and happily. Then this morning he showed up to put them together. Here they are all put together. We have stacked a few books on them and I am so happy to have a place to put them. Thanks Grandpa Crimson!

I am all of me

I love this pic. One day when we went to the store the little kids got out of the cart to go potty, so Mr. Right got in. He doesn't QUITE fit! Mr. Right had to write a poem about himself for English class this week. I thought it was a pretty good perspective on him and asked if I could share it. Surprisingly he said yes. Here it is.

I am all of me
I wonder when wars will stop
I hear awesome songs in my head
I see great video games
I want people to be kind
I am all of me

I pretend to be an ultimate being
I feel like sleeping
I love
I worry about death
I deplore mean people
I cry when my brothers annoy me
I am all of me

I understand most games
I say humans will one day live eternally
I dream of sceince
I try to concentrate
I hope to get a good job
I am all of me

Fun at the park

On one of the last days before school I took the boys to a wonderful park not too far from where we do our grocery shopping. (I was actually taking them shopping, but we decided to stop and play a while before we went.) It has a whole bunch of really cool new things.
Like these musical toys. The boys all loved the drums and huge maracas.
I know I won't do this thing justice. It's kind of like a tilt-a-whirl that you stand on. It is TONS of fun. Even I had to take a turn or two on it. So fun! I had a hard time getting a good pic of Perfect. He was happily running from place to place. He definitely loves the park!

Surprising to me even Music loved it. He didn't ask the whole time we were there to leave. And for him not to ask to leave, or even ask for a time when we could go is close to a miracle. I know he must have loved it.

Of course once they saw I had a camera they had to start acting like the bunch of hams they are! I love my boys!

Oh my cute little Super! He and I get to go to this park a lot while the boys are in school. (Ssshhhh, don't tell them.)

Prince was really happy at this park. Especially with all the new and different things it had.

Right and Music on the obstacle course!

Gosh, I just look at this pic and can't help but notice how big D.A. is getting. He was another one which was hard to get a pic of. ZOOM ZOOM!

I love the park!
