Early Easter

Easter came a week early with giant eggs around my house. At least that's what the eggs told me they were.

Pizza Margherita

Mr. Music has been suggesting a lot of recipes lately. Our deal is, "If you make it then you have to eat it." to get him to eat we decided to have him cook as often as he wants. He doesn't always like the finished product but he will eat a bite or two. (Which is more than he usually eats.)
Tonight he made Pizza Margherita (a recipe he found on the back of the Kraft mozzarella cheese). Looks good to me! Let's eat!

My Twins

Unknowingly my twins wore twinner outfits this morning. The best part is that they were so excited when they realized they matched!!
Mr. Prince was even the one who suggested I take pictures!
As often as they don't get along, I am am so grateful that they always come back to being friends.
Love my twins.

Chores

Yesterday everyone traded chores. This morning we were talking about it at breakfast and Dad asked, "What about milking the cows, and slopping the pigs, and gathering the eggs?"
Mr. Perfect most happily jumped on the bandwagon volunteering, "I'll tame the phoenix!!" Oh I love the way his mind works. Now he is talking about all sorts of mythological animal chores. I hope he keeps his imagination forever!

FHE Fun

Tonight we had an awesome FHE lesson about love. We talked about how people are important. More important than solving problems, more important than winning games, more important than any thing. And we talked about how family should be at the very top of the people list, and therefore be the people we love the most.
Then Dad told the boys we were going to play a game. He talked about how this game was a game we played all the time, and how we know everyone LOVES this game. But this game a lot of times ends in tears, and people often get mad during the game. Then he reminded them of the things we had just talked about (Mr Right suggested right here that the game was called 'Being Brothers' lol) Dad pulled out six brand new foam swords and they all grabbed one. There was one axe and Mr Right grabbed it right off much to the dismay of Mr Prince. Mr Right didn't even blink, he traded the axe for the sword Prince had, giving us the perfect teaching moment. Yea!
They had a ton of fun outside and we did indeed have a game of swords with no bickering or tears! Yea for successful FHE!!!

The New Toy

So for his birthday Mr. Right wanted Kinect for our x-box. What a great toy for the whole family! Mr. Perfect suggested we NEED to use it every day because it's great exercise. I've wanted one for a long time, now we need some games I would like... maybe for MY birthday.;)

Muffins in the morning

Mr. Music doesn't eat. Okay that might be a slight exaggeration. But he certainly doesn't eat as much as I would like. Recently we noticed he stopped eating breakfast. One morning when we made muffins he ate! So, Dad asked me to buy a lot of muffin mix so I did and then we showed Music how to follow the instructions and every morning since he actually eats breakfast! Not only that but the other boys love the muffins and I love the way our house smells every morning! This morning he made pumpkin quick bread and everyone got their own personal mini loaf. What a great treat for Mr. Rights birthday!

In Celebration

Right's birthday is this week and so we celebrated with dinner with the Crimsons. Check out that awesome Chocolate Candy Volcano cake. Whahoo! Thanks Grandma Crimson. As you can tell he was showered with love, and though he won't acknowledge it (especially on camera) we know he loves it!!!

Good eats

While Dad was home recuperating from a thirty mile run I took the boys to Cheeburger Cheeburger. We had lots of fun, and Dad got a little peace for a second. We brought him home a nice Chocolate shake as well. :)

Tree Trimmer Treats

Every Saturday morning I wake up knowing I will be going to the store to pick up ingredients for some wonderful treat. So far they have mostly been chocolate something or others. This week is no exception. These are Rice Krispy balls made from Cocoa Krispies. So much fun. Thanks to our aspiring baker we get a fun treat on Saturdays!
