Park and ROCKS!

This was a super fun park, with these huge climbing rocks. We had a great day there. Josiah was doing service with the other missionaries so we might have to come back another time...

Six 1/2 years ago... this year

Six and a half years ago, we found this AWESOME rest stop. This year, we went to the one across the street.
The older boys were gone, so it was just Isaiah, Moses, and me. Guess who loved this rest stop the most? Yep. ME - because it was all about school!!!
But they enjoyed it too!
There were "learning blocks" everywhere; even in the benches.
Pillars made of books were on each entrance.
Gotta love the pyramid effect with this pillar.
Moses was swearing to tell the whole truth, Isaiah ... meh... just take his word for it. ;)
The picnic tables were set up in "school houses" held up by "blocks". AHHHH Too cute!
The block that Moses has his finger on is a "library." I thought it was adorable that he was choosing a book!

Trust Me

This place was Isaiah's idea. All he told us was "Trust me." So we followed his directions and ended up at this wonderful park, with an awesome bridge, and a "Globe" theater. (A VERY small Globe theater, but still. It was really cool!) We had a great time.

The mall in the next city over

So, our adventure on this VERY rainy day was to go to a mall in the next city over. It was fun to check out a new place. A few of the boys bought something, but most just enjoyed getting out.

Captain Kirk

So, we decided that weekends need to have outings or adventures. For our first adventure, we went to see the future birthplace of James Kirk. Yes, we are nerds. We own it!

March

Josiah made a whole bunch of cat scratchers for our local animal shelter.
He also began collecting a few shirts to match his masks.
Whahoo! Moses made the honor roll!!!
He chose interesting states we've never lived in, but I sure love the colors!
Happy Birthday to Malachi and Fluffy in March

February

February means Valentine’s Day (which really just means cookies to the boys).

A lovely view on my desk.
My sweet Valentine’s Day gift from my Sweetheart.
Josiah has collected flag masks from all fifty states. He has both the old and the new Mississippi flags as well as DC and the US territories!

Allowing boys to dish themselves looks like this.
