My old Sage is starting to show his age. He turned 3 years old this last week. MAN that is OLD. When you think of it from my perspective (the fact that he is my baby) it really doesn't seem possible that he can be that old yet. But indeed he is.
We had two birthday parties for him. He LOVED all of that attention and it dragged out his birthday for a few days as well, which he TOTALLY got into. I think we are done with cake for a while though. Although the boys tell me that they really couldn't ever get sick of having cake. In fact this morning they were asking when the next birthday was. Crazy Kids.
Here he is blowing out the candles on the cake. He didn't even let us finish singing, he saw candles he is allowed to blow out, he blew them out. Plain and simple!

Blue Tiger and Sage ready to cut the cake.

Opening presents. That is my favorite part, and the gifts last so much longer than the cake.

He spends hours playing with all of his new toys. Exactly what 3 year
olds are supposed to do.

His brothers are happy to play with him too!

Our next party we had a couple of days later with other friends. Boy we are so blessed to have so many friends. This is one of our friends who when he found out we were having a party really wanted to come. He loves our Sage, and our Sage loves him. It's a good relationship!

Grandpa Crimson, looking quite dashing with his cool (although temporary) beard.

Grandma Crimson, beautiful as usual. (I loved what Grandpa Crimson said about her, he told me "I married her because I thought she was the cutest thing ever.")

And our Ray of Sunshine. She is taking Cake decorating classes and made a cake for the party. And although I didn't get a good pic of the cake I thought it was darling. It was a clown cake, and Sage LOVED it. In fact he kept trying to put the clown face on it in different places until there was no cake left to put it on.

Happy Birthday Sage. I love you!
