Good Friday

This morning we started out with our morning devotional. We talked about Good Friday and what it meant, and what exactly happened on the Thursday night and Friday before Easter. We talked about everything from the institution of the sacrament, to the Atonement of Christ and his trials and Crucifixion, to Judas' roll in it all. It was a good discussion and really set the mood for us for the weekend.

We also decided to color our eggs today. We have enjoyed our sharpie's with our egg colors for many years now. So, that is what we did this year as well.

We ended the day on a wonderful note as well. We got a phone call which set all of our hearts a flutter. Our Angel got her mission call and invited us to come over to be there for the opening of it. WHAHOO! We were so happy to be there. Congratulations Angel!

Notes for the future

Mr. Prince has a deadline. He has repeatedly told me that on June 21st 2017 he needs to be in Alaska.

(I don't know why. I only know he is insistent upon it.)

Mr. Music has also made some plans for the future. He told me he needs to marry a girl with brown skin. (He isn't particular at this point what nationality. He just likes dark skin.)He also has picked out names for his three daughters. Which of course he is planning on only having daughters. Their names are to be Diamond, Ocean and Asianelle (or Asia for short).

Just thought I would document these for future reference.

A note from Mr. Prince to Mr. Music

When I opened my email this morning I had Delivery Status Notification in my inbox saying that a message which was sent was undeliverable due to a bad address. I read the note and knew instantly who had sent it...Mr. Prince. It was addressed to Mr. Music.

Goodbye to a friend

This is Maggie. She has been very special to us. Not only has she been loved and petted by us she has been sat on, her tail pulled, and still loved us anyway. She is the first dog Mr. Music learned to love instead of fear. He even learned where her snacks were kept so he would often feed her treats. She was loving and wonderful. We love you Maggie. You will be missed by all of our Mr's and this Mrs.

First Day of Spring Break

Today started Spring Break. It was a good day. Mr D.A. and Mr Perfect started soccer camp. With a bunch of guys from the UK and Ireland coaching...so you know they are good. Right? It's all about the accent... Anyway, the field is located just next to a great playground, so we all went to pick them up and we played at the park. It was fun.

Pics from the Promotion

Last weekend we got to see our Mr. Perfect progress in his martial arts class to a green belt. There weren't very many kids promoted. Here is a pic of them waiting for it to start. Look at that cheesy grin on Mr. Perfect. He was VERY happy!
He was the first one called up to receive his certificate and new belt. He set a very good example. I love the bows he exchanged with his instructor.
When everything was said and done....happiness.

Pink!

A few months ago my cute hubby insisted he give me his iphone. He just KNEW I would love it. When he gave it to me it looked like this.
Well, the truth of the matter is I don't love it nearly as much as the boys do. There are a couple of features I have to admit I use on a regular basis. But I might love it more now that it looks like this.
You didn't want it back...did you Sweetie?

Spirit Week

This week was spirit week for my boys in middle school. They had a lot of fun dressing up each day. The first day was just miss-match day. The second day was look alike day. I was glad I had matching shirts from our Disney trip last year. The third day was Dress for Success day. Mr. Right actually wore one of Dad's shirts. It was a bit long on him, but only a bit. Scary. And Mr. Music wore his Sunday clothes. He told me everyone loved his dress for success look. Thursday was their favorite. It was Decade Day. Mr. Right chose the 70's and Mr. Music chose the 50's. I think they looked great. Friday was sports day. They both wore sports clothing and they will be having field day type activities. They have had a great week. YEA Spirit Week.

Tummy Ache

The other day Mr. Super was sick. It was so sad. He kept coming to me with band-aids to put on his tummy. So I put one on. I don't think it helped but he was appeased and afterward lie down and took a VERY long nap. (And then he slept all night as well.) Poor kid. He's better now...just fyi..

A crazy busy day in the Kingdom

Mr. Music lost another tooth. He only has one more baby tooth to lose. He is VERY aware of this and is looking forward to having all of his baby teeth gone. He knows the next step for him is braces, he isn't sure how he feels about those. But he is excited to be growing up. Mr. D.A. for the first time had a friend come over for a sleep over last night. I let him stay up a bit later than usual, but not a ton later. It didn't matter though, he slept most of the afternoon today and even went to sleep on my bed before evening prayers were even said. He LOVED having a friend over and can't wait until the next time we can do it, but it was exhausting!
Mr. Right shaved for the first time today. He has been growing some hair on his lip and asked me a while ago to teach him. So we've been planning and decided today was the day. He was a bit apprehensive, but did a great job. I told him he probably only needs to do it maybe once a week or so for now. But before bed he was already talking about "next week when I shave..." I loved teaching him and he even gave me a voluntary hug and kiss when he was done. YEA!
Today at martial arts class Mr. Perfect was informed that next week he would be promoted from yellow belt to green belt. Whahoo! He is really excited. He also got his hair cut today. He wanted to grow out his hair, but hated having to comb it every day. So, short it is. He looks great either way. Mr. Prince loves the United States. Today while we were doing all of our taxi driving from lessons and such he was listing all of the States in alphabetical order saying what each state was. "Florida- the sunshine state. Missouri-the show me state. etc. etc." I don't know them all and I definitely can't say all of the states in order but he can. Last week during conference this was one of his things. He is making a map of the US state by state. When he found he didn't have room for them all he drew an outline first. See next pic...He discovered it was much easier if he had the outline first and then drew the states in. Boy this kid is good! He loves to play this game with me where he draws half a state and I have to guess what it is. If I get it right he draws the rest, if I don't he gives me hints like..."This was the 12th state." or "This state is one of the eight smallest states. (WHO KNOWS THAT?) Mr. Prince knows it. He loves his United States. And finally my sweet Mr. Super. We dragged him along with us as we taxied kids here and there. This is a pic of him waiting in the van while some of the boys were still in their classes. Boy he is a cutie!

A date with a LLRF

I got to have a most beautiful evening last week with a good friend. She is LOVELY, she always makes me LAUGH, she is REAL and above everything else she is a true FRIEND. LLRF!

I have told her things even my hubby doesn't know. (Heh heh...I love to make you crazy by saying stuff like that sweetie, but it's true. Don't worry you still know a lot about me that she doesn't though.)

From the first day I met her I felt complete love for her. I think we may have been sisters in the pre-mortal world. Wait...I guess that applies to a lot more than just her...well REALLY CLOSE sisters in the pre-mortal world then.

I loved my outing with her. We went to dinner and then went to see Beastly. Which was better than I thought it would be after reading the reviews. I thought it did what it intended to do very well.

After the movie we just hung out and walked around the mall, did some window shopping and a ton of laughing. I need to thank her for being so wonderful, accepting, and easy to be with. And I need to thank her hubby for sharing her with me for an evening.
