My Birthday 2012

I am another year older. Ouch. But Grandma Crimson eased the blow with a beautiful cake.

Grandma and Grandpa brought us all gifts from their trip to Hawaii. Whahoo! (We'd rather have them than the stuff, but we will take what we can get.)

2012 Christmas

We had a lovely Christmas here at home.
Our outside décor reminded us of the reason for the season.
We loved having a train around our tree!
Traditional Pajamas on Christmas Eve
Mom sent me an elf hat. I LOVE it.
Where did all of these presents come from?
On Christmas Eve we read the scripture story and put the pieces of the nativity in place as we read.

2012 Thanksgiving in Kittery Maine

For Thanksgiving all of our plans kind of fell through at the last minute. When my husband asked me what I would like to do, I told him quite frankly that I wanted to spend the holiday with our good friends up in Maine. We apprehensively called and asked if we could bring our little army to invade their home. And MUCH to our surprise and pleasure they were thrilled. How we loved spending time with them and enjoying Maine. My boys still, months later, still ask when we are going back to visit.

Our awesome friends are both photographers. I enjoyed capturing this little moment of both of them taking pics.
It doesn't matter how scary those rocks were, that pop tart never was put down.
It was so hard to keep a coat on Music. He loves the cold!
One of my dreams came true. Me in Maine, with a lighthouse.
Taking the boys to the beach and telling them not to get in the water was a little silly.
Doesn't matter how cold it is for these water babies!

We have a lot of family history in this part of the country. We found a graveyard in which one of our ancestors was buried. Dad told stories of her and then sent them off to find her tombstone. Right found it! Cool!

We loved our Thanksgiving in Kittery.

Halloween Parade

Only half of my boys are young enough to be in Halloween parades. Where does the time go?
Here they are.
Play is Spyro. (Of course! He's a dragon AND from a game. Is there anything better?)
DA is a puppy. Seriously, this costume is like it was made for him!
Geography is Harry Potter.
More pics to come after tonight!

Waiting for Hurricane Sandy

Mr Imagination side one.

Mr. Imagination side two
"My pumpkin is scary, your argument is invalid."

Mr. D.A. side one.

Mr. D.A. side two.

Mr. Geography does not like characters with mouths!
(I have my own ideas as to his reasons... I'm probably right.)

Mr. Geography side two.

Mr. Right.
"No room for mouth.
Plenty of room for message."

Mr. Music. and his masterpiece.

Mr. Play decided he wanted to carve a pumpkin. When we all got together to work on our pumpkins he drew a face then took it to dad. "I need to cut it out." How could Dad resist. He did an awesome job!

Mr. Play showing off his carved pumpkin and his finger-light.

This is mine. I love turning them on their sides and using the stem as a nose. So fun.

And Dad's. "This is a smile." BAH!

It's autumn time!

It's autumn time! It's autumn time the leaves are falling down.
It's autumn time! It's autumn time it's all around the town.
