The Baptism

What a wonderful day. We were overwhelmed by all of the support and love we felt today.  I asked Talker at the end how he felt. He said, "I feel GREAT!" That's the best! Thank you to everyone who participated in any way!
I love his smile! He was SO excited!
Sweet. Dad gave him a kiss on the cheek after the confirmation and he wiped it off as he shook hands with the other brethren. *tee hee*

I love this. I can almost hear what he's saying. "Can I tell you something?" (It's his most used sentence.) He always has something or other to tell you.

He is so happy to be getting baptized. What a happy day.

8 year old pics of Talker

He is SO adorable! I can't decide which to put on the front of his Baptism Program.
Hmmmm...... maybe a collage.

Talker's 8th Birthday

For my Talker's 8th Birthday he decided he wanted to go to Chuck-E-Cheese. We went... a bit reluctantly, but everyone had a surprisingly great time!
He hit the jackpot on one of the games. Whahoo!

Being that he didn't really want any of the cheesy prizes, he allowed his brothers to share all his tickets. What a great big brother!

Talk about cheesy! Look at that great grin! Gotta love it!

Guess who ran out of tokens first? Yep! His brothers were great about sharing with him until everyone ran out. Yea for good sharing brothers!

Taking on the machines Team Style! Yea boys!

Skee ball is his favorite. He's pretty dang good at it too.

EATING THE TOKENS!?! (With a photobomber, of course.)

I'm pretty sure we were the oldest people in the whole place. I don't FEEL that old.
We ended the day having dinner and FHE with the Elders, and of course, cake and ice-cream.
Making his wish. (He almost said it aloud, but everyone stopped him.)
He was very specific about his cake. "I need a rainbow cake, with a big M on it." I got the big M part.

And he loved the rainbow part too. :D
Happy Birthday Talker!

First Snow of 2014

Today we had our first snowfall. In being true to the weather around here it was a very wet snow. But it still could be used to make a snowman, a little dirty, but a snowman nonetheless. YEA!

4 Year Olds

My husband and I both have darling little black and white pics of when we were 4 years old. So, I wanted to put together some pictures of each of my boys at the same age. I have been working on it for quite some time but forgot about it as I waited for my two youngest to pass the "golden" age I wanted. Finally, a few years late, I've put together the pics. Enjoy

Back with the program

I promised myself I'd get back into blogging because I do better at keeping a journal this way. So, we start again. Wish me luck! In no particular order here are the players in our Kingdom.
The Thinker
(There is always something going through this boys head.)
The Planner
(Give him a goal and he makes a plan. And if he doesn't have a goal, he will make a plan to make a goal, or two, or three.)
The Mover
(This one doesn't slow down! There is too much to do, too much fun to have for him to stay still.)
The Observer
(I love how this one just watches and silently analyses the world.)

The Talker
(A moment of silence? What is that?)

The Seeker
(This one is always looking for something to do or someplace to go.)
